The Class of 1959 celebrated its 60th year reunion on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Diamond Event Center in Cedar Falls over Sturgis Falls weekend. It was come and go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch was served buffet style at noon, and was followed by presentations from Cedar Falls Mayor Jim Brown, Western Home Communities CEO Jerry Harris, Western Home Communities Chaplain Timothy Bottiger, who gave some history of Western Home Communities and the blessing and The City of Cedar Falls Community Services Manager Stephanie Sheetz, who gave a video presentation of past, present and future Cedar Falls. On Saturday, they joined the class of 1960 after the parade at Washington Park Shelter. |
