How to Sign Up

Conference sign-ups open on October 16 and close strictly at midnight on October 31.

  • Scheduling Link: Please book your appointments using the Canyon Creek Online Scheduler (the same scheduling system used by our elementary schools).

  • From the Online Scheduler Home Page, choose “Cedar Falls Secondary” by High Schools and click “GO”

  • Enter the school password tigers26

  • Enter your student’s “Student ID”.  If you do not know their Student ID, use the LOOKUP STUDENT ID button to access the system.

  • Verify the student’s birth date

  • A list of your student’s teachers will be displayed.  Check the box(es) next to the name(s) of each teacher(s) you would like to meet with.

  • If you have more than one student in the school, you can see all of your students’ teachers’ schedules at one time by answering YES to this question “Do you want to schedule conferences for another student?” then repeat the steps above for your other students.  If you only have one student, answer NO to that question.

  • You will then see the available time slots for each teacher you selected.

  • Select the times that work best for your schedule.

  • Enter your email address (recommended) to get an email reminder sent to you and additional conference information. (Your email address is kept private.)

  • Once you have finished you can confirm your appointment details and print your conference schedule.

  • Write down the Confirmation Number(this number is required to cancel your appointment if needed)

    • Duration: Each conference appointment is exactly 7 minutes in length.

Choosing Your Conference Format (Virtual vs. In-Person)

  • Virtual (Default): Online conferencing provides maximum convenience and efficiency. If you plan to meet virtually, you do not need to take extra action after booking your spot.

  • In-Person (By Request): If you prefer to meet face-to-face, you must email your student's teacher directly to notify them. Teachers will conduct all conferences from their classrooms or office spaces.

Accessing and Joining Your Meetings

  • Teacher Directory & Locations: Use the Teacher Google Meet & Location Spreadsheet to find your teacher's room location or their personalized virtual meeting link. Google Meet links

    • Tip: We highly recommend copying your specific teachers' links into a separate document beforehand to save time scrolling on conference day.

  • Technical Support: Review the Google Meet Video Tutorial for step-by-step instructions. Google Meet Tutorial Video

    • Computers: A Google email account is not required to join from a web browser.

    • Smartphones: A Google email account is required if you are connecting via a mobile device.
