Kiln donation

Mrs. Hoop, the mother of a former Peet student (Sofia Munoz) was generous enough to offer an unused item that she acquired with the intent of using it to create a small business. Since her plans to use the kiln never came to fruition, she decided to offer the kiln to the district for use by the school. Knowing that kilns can be quite costly on the front end to purchase, Mr. Wolf offered to take the donation for Peet. It will be used for smaller loads of ceramics and glass fusing by the students. With a little attention, the kiln should be able to provide many more years of service at no cost to the district. Several other items associated with the kiln and ceramic art were donated with the kiln to be used by the students. Mrs. Hoops generosity is much appreciated.
