Happy Black History Month! In honor of Black History Month, we want to take time to celebrate the remarkable contributions of African Americans throughout history.

Today we celebrate Misty Copeland, a groundbreaking ballerina who shattered barriers in the world of ballet. As the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, she has redefined what’s possible in the dance world. Copeland's journey reminds us that "The next generation of young girls can now see that they can achieve their dreams no matter what.

Any student interested in ordering a yearbook for the 2024-25 school year please see Mrs. Hartmann at the money window. The cost of a yearbook is $15.

Peet Students:  Don't forget...next Tuesday, March 4th, Peet will be hosting a Volleyball Tournament after school to raise funds for the Cooper Lins Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a graduating senior from Cedar Falls.

Teams can still sign up and compete in either the recreational or competitive bracket—sign up using the link on your grade level Schoology page.  You can print the form or make a copy and email it to Mrs. Rea.

If you want to participate and are having a hard time putting together a full team, Mrs. Lins posted a link on your grade level Schoology pages so that you can be put on a team with others who want to participate as well!  

The cost is $5 for both participants and spectators to get in!
Concessions will also be available...Jimmy John's, Casey's pizza, chips, pop, candy and more!  It is cash only to get in and for concessions!

The Peet JH Variety Show is this upcoming weekend! Featuring the best talent and music that Peet Junior High has to offer, it will be a show you won't want to miss. Tickets will be on sale before school every day this week and will be available for purchase at the door. The Friday show will start at 7:00PM and the Saturday show will be at 1:00PM! All tickets are $6, but students can get $2 tickets for the Saturday afternoon show. All shows serve Kiwanis kettle corn and M&M's


March Book Madness is here! Stop by the PJH Library this week to pick up your bracket and make your predictions! Voting starts in March, and prizes are up for grabs—don’t miss out!
