PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Tuesday, January 30th an A day.


8th Grade Basketball: Only A and B are traveling to Bunger today. Change into black jerseys once dismissed at 2:35. Red and Black team practice in the new gym after school with Coach Bates until 4:30 tonight.


Students needing a bus pass for February, please stop at the lunch window before school or during your lunch shift. Two way passes are $50, one way passes are $25, and a single ride ticket is $1.25. See Mrs. Davis with questions.


Any 9th grade girls interested in joining the Cedar Falls High School Track and Field team there will be an informational meeting today in room 53, Mr. Twedt's room, during Tiger Time.


9th grade boys: If you're interested in joining the Cedar Falls Boys rugby team, please fill out the form posted in Schoology. We will hold a preseason informational meeting on Wednesday, January 31st at 3:15pm in the high school cafeteria. If you would like to play, but cannot make the meeting, please reach out to Coach Piper at brentpiper84@gmail.com.


Calling all 9th grade girls interested in playing high school tennis! There will be a student-athlete meeting on Tuesday, February 6th at 5:15pm at the High School. You can also find out information about tennis and sign up online on our team website. You can find this online under Cedar Falls Athletic teams and search Women's tennis. 


All 8th grade students along with new 7th and 9th graders will have their hearing checked by the AEA on Thursday, February 1. 8th grade and new 7th and 9th grade students, you will receive a pass during period 1 on Tuesday, February 1 with a specific time for you to report to the office conference room. Please report to the office at the time listed on this pass so we can keep checks running smoothly and timely. See Mrs. Ruane in the office with questions.


Today’s lunch will be: Taco Beef & Cheese Burrito, Cheeseburger, Chef Salad, Refried Beans with Cheese, Veggie Bar, Apple Slices & Mandarin Oranges
