Today is Tuesday, May 23rd, a B day.
No Echoes this week. Students should make arrangements to get home immediately after school. If you work with a teacher after school or have ALT this week, you must have your own ride home.
Our last People of Color Community or POC Community group is meeting tomorrow in Rm. 14 for Tiger Time! We have Waterloo Councilperson, Nia Wilder, scheduled to come as a guest speaker! Not only is Nia a lifelong resident of Waterloo, she has a degree in digital media and serves as a radio personality at KBBG-FM! ALL students are welcome! Please check in with your Tiger Time teacher tomorrow and tell them you are going to Rm. 14 for POC Community! Hope to see you there!
There will be a high school cross country meeting Tuesday, May 30th during Tiger Time in the Library for any current 8th & 9th graders interested in running on the cross country team next school year.
The 9th grade football sign up and summer weight lifting sign up is on schoology. If you are interested in playing football this fall, please get in and sign up today. Please make sure you fill out both forms for football and weights. Summer weight lifting for incoming 9th grade football players this summer will start on Monday, June 5, 2023. All 9th grade football players will be lifting at Holmes Junior High during the summer. Summer weightlifting will cost $40.00 per player and can be paid the first week of weightlifting to Coach Rottinghaus. Group Football workouts will start on Wednesday evening June 7 starting at 5:00-6:30 PM for all 9-12 grade football players. This will be at Cedar Falls High School Football Field.
