Remember that fun 45 minutes we were planning to have right before Winter Break? SURPRISE! We are doing it some time this month! However... that means Mrs. Iehl needs you to sign up again with the semester switch!! Find the form on your Schoology Grade level group! You will need to sign up before Friday, or you will be assigned to an activity!
Now here is Mr. Boevers with a dance announcement.
Good morning students. All of the 9th graders should be aware that we have the 9th grade dance on Saturday, April 22 from 7:30 - 9:30. We have had a 9th grade dance for many years in the past. This dance is free for our 9th grade students, and we will have lots of prizes. There will also be snacks and soft drinks for our 9th graders.
This dance is only for Peet 9th grade students, no exceptions.
This year, we will also have a dance for 7th and 8th grade students. This dance is for only Peet students that are in 7th and 8th grade. It will take place on Friday March 31 from 7:30 - 9:30. The dance will be in the back gym, and we plan to have some games available in the front gym. For this type of dance, students normally come by themselves or with a few friends. The theme will be neon, so you can wear neon if you like. There is no need to buy new clothes for this dance. Tickets for this dance will be $4 if you buy in the lunch room a few days before the dance, or $5 at the door.
The dance should be a fun night for our 7th and 8th grade students. One thing to note is that attending the dance is a privilege. Mr. Meister and I will be monitoring student behavior, and if students are not meeting expectations, they will not be allowed to attend the dance.
2 things to note for both dances:
These dances are for Peet students only.
If you are not meeting behavior expectations, you will not be allowed to attend.
See Mr. Boevers or Mr. Meister if you have any questions.
Now, please stand if you are able as we say the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
