Today is Thursday, January 5th, an A day.

All 8th grade students will have their hearing checked by the AEA on Tuesday, January 10. 8th grade students, you will receive a pass during period 1 on Tuesday, January 10 with a specific time for you to report to the office conference room. Please report to the office at the time listed on this pass so we can keep checks running smoothly and timely. See Mrs. Ruane in the office with questions.

Interested in participating in the 2023 Variety Show? Come to the meeting after school next Monday, January 9th. We will chat about what the variety show looks like and how you can get involved. Special note for those who want to be an MC - auditions will be next Thursday, January 12th. We hope you take advantage of this amazingly fun opportunity!

9th graders interested in signing up for baseball for the 2023 season please fill out the information form posted on Schoology.  Information regarding pre-season workouts and opportunities will be sent out via this list.  If you have any questions contact Coach Williams via email brett.williams@cfschools.org or in room 46.

Students needing a bus pass for January, please stop by Mrs. Davis’s lunch window before school or during lunch. A two way pass is $50, a one way pass is $25, and a single ride ticket is $1.25. 

A new enrichment is being offered known as Green Team. This is for students looking to make a difference in the school’s recycling and sustainability efforts. Follow a passion of yours with the support of an environmental educator from Green Iowa Americore! Meetings will be during Tiger Time on Mondays and Wednesday in Mrs. Beneke’s classroom, room 30. Everyone is welcome to attend Green Team. Teachers, please allow students to come to room 30 even if they haven't signed up.

Students: Please make sure you are charging chromebooks at night. It is also important that you are not leaving them in cold cars as this will cause damage to the battery.

Please return or renew any overdue library books ASAP. Starting next week, students with books more than a month overdue will not be able to checkout a book until everything is up to date!
