Student Life Peet Junior HighPEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTSToday is Monday, October 11th an A day.Lunch will be inside today.9th grade Volleyball players, you will be dismissed at 2:40pm today.Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball girls on their win at the metro tournament Saturday, going 4-0 on the day and 13-0 on the season. Coach Beneke and Coach Stuber are proud of all of you and your hard work!Also, 8th grade volleyball girls, your pictures are in. Stop by Mrs. Beneke's room (room 30) to pick them up.Coach Marchesani will hold a sign up meeting for 8th grade girls basketball in the library tomorrow, Tuesday Oct 12th, at 7:30 AM. All interested 8th grade girls should attend that meeting to sign up and get information about the upcoming season.Congratulations to all students who auditioned for OPUS Honor Choir! Peet had three students accepted: Marisol Blanco-Anacker, Landon Klug, and Caleb Rusch. These students will be performing in Ames next month with students from all across Iowa.Any 9th grader interested in going out for bowling this season should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday before school in the library. If you are unable to attend but are interested in going out, please contact Coach Brad Baker at the high school.7th & 8th graders interested in wrestling, there will be a meeting at 7:30am in the Peet wrestling room on Thursday, Oct 14th.9th graders: Please sign-up on your schoology class page if you are interested in going out for wrestling this season.Today’s lunch will be: Mini Corn Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Spicy Chicken Tenders, Potato Wedges, Veggie Bar, Peaches, and Apple Slices.Happy birthday to: Lucy Corkery, Laura O’Bryon, Sophia Tognetti, & Piper Vanslyke!Now, please stand if you are able as we say the Pledge of Allegiance.
