PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Today is Tuesday, September 8th, a B Day.


Congrats to the 9th grade volleyball team on their wins against Dubuque Hempstead, winning both games in 2 sets! The first game was 25-19 and 25-23, and the second game 25-22, and 25-17. Go Tigers!


Echoes will begin Tuesday next week. Echoes will meet in the library Tuesday - Thursday after school. If you are looking for a quiet place to finish or get help with your classwork, meet up with your friends or play games, find Mr. Green or come to the media center after school next week. Mr. Norby will also offer weightlifting after school.


The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) will be hosting an open house on Sunday, September 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Livingston Aviation located at the Waterloo airport. This is an amazing opportunity for students ages 12-18 who are interested in aviation, military leadership, and emergency services. No registration is required to attend.

The CAP’s Cadet Program is a year-round program where Cadets fly, learn to lead, hike, camp, get in shape, and explore careers in aviation, space, or the military. For more information, contact Lt.Sarah Engelhardt, Waterloo Flight Cadet Commander at sengelhardt@iawg.cap.gov.


Students interested in joining Peet’s Student Council - applications are now in the Counseling Office! Pick up a green application form, and turn it back in to the Counseling Office by Friday, September 10th. Contact Mrs. Bowden with any questions!


Any 8th or 9th grade student interested in being on yearbook staff, please fill out the application posted by Mrs. Cahill in Schoology by 3 PM TODAY. Yearbook duties include taking pictures at various school events and creating yearbook pages from those images. See Mrs. Cahill with any questions!


Today’s lunch will be: Papa Johns Pizza, Chicken Bites, Buffalo Chicken Bites, Green Beans, Veggie Bar, Peaches, and Apple Slices.
