PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Tuesday, February 23rd a B Day.

Today’s Black History Month highlight is Diane Nash.  African American civil rights leader Diane Nash was prominently involved in some of the most consequential campaigns of the movement, including the Freedom Rides and the Selma Voting Rights Campaign. Nash later became active in the peace movement and continues to advocate for fair housing in her hometown of Chicago, where she practices real estate.

Students who are interested in purchasing a Yearbook for the 2020-21 school year can do so now at the lunch window with Mrs. Baron. Yearbooks are $15. The last day to purchase a yearbook is March 31. See Mrs. Cahill in the library with questions!

Message from Coach Chidester, CFHS Head SB Coach: Pitchers and Catchers grades 8-12 will be meeting on Sunday afternoons beginning on February 28, from 3:00-4:30 at the CFHS gyms. Bring gloves, catching equipment, & tennis shoes. Masks required!

Today’s lunch will be: Papa John’s Pizza or Chicken Bites, Dinner Roll, Steamed Green Beans, Applesauce Cup and Bananas.
