Student Life Peet Junior High

PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Monday, October 12th an A Day.

Peet students and staff:  Mark your calendars because this Thursday, October 15th we are having a Hat Day to raise funds for our Food Drive this year!  In year's past we've also collected canned and boxed food items, but this year the Northeast Iowa Food Bank is relying on our donations to help families here in the Cedar  Valley!  Please consider paying $1.00 to wear a hat and support this great cause!  You will pay in the front entrance when you arrive and get a stamp to show you did so.

9th grade Volleyball girls change of time - you get out of class at 2:40 today.

Echoes will meet today after school in the Media Center.

Students who need to have their school pictures retaken and have not yet signed up for retakes, please fill the google form out on the Peet website. If you have signed up for retakes, you will receive a pass on Tuesday, October 13 in your first period class with the time you will need to report to the library for retakes. You can also report to the library right away at 7:35am on Tuesday and have them taken before school. See Mrs. Ruane in the office with questions.

Any 9th grade student interested in going out for bowling there will be a short informational meeting in the library on Wednesday morning at 7:30. If you are interested but can't make it to the meeting, please contact Coach Baker at the high school.

Please help the Yearbook Staff choose the cover for the 2020-21 Yearbook! Vote for one of the three options at the link posted on Schoology. Voting will close at 3 PM on Wednesday, October 14 and the winner will be announced on Schoology on Thursday.

We will be eating inside for lunch today.

Any 8th grade girl interested in basketball, please sign up in the office. There will be a meeting on Thursday morning at 7:40 in the media center for all that are planning on playing this year.
