PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Today is Tuesday, October 6th an A Day.


ALT and the ECHOES Academic Center will begin today. The academic center will meet in the library after school Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30. Students who need help with their coursework or need to finish or make up a test are invited to attend. ECHOES will only offer academic support and no enrichment or recreational programs. Students attending Echoes for homework help should report to the Media Center no later than 3:15 and check in with Mrs. Kenser or Mr. Green. Busing is available for students who need a ride. The bus will leave Peet at 4:30 each day. Contact Mr. Green with any questions.


CONGRATS to the following individuals for checking off every single square of their Book BINGO. This is a HUGE accomplishment! Hayden Schwab, Abigail Kuehl, Kael Moore, Lila Williams, Allie Smalley, Katie Cox, Connor Perry, Ellie Anton, Xzavier Briggs, and Aiden Kuehl. The following students were drawn for the large grand prizes: Hayden Schawb, Kael Moore, Katie Cox, Ellie Anton, and Aiden Kuehl. Please come to the library sometime today to collect your prize! Great job to everyone who participated. The newest reading challenge has been posted in Schoology, so be sure to check it out!


Don't forget to sign up for Battle of the Books through the link in Schoology if you are interested. Sign up closes at 3 PM on Friday, and we will start meeting next Monday, October 12!


Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball team on a great night of volleyball last night at the High School. It is hard to believe the season is complete! Coach Beneke is very proud of all of you and the growth you showed this year!

 

Today’s lunch will be: Papa John’s Pizza, Chicken Bites, Steamed Corn, Cauliflower, Mandarin Oranges, and Banana.
