PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Wednesday, March 11, a B day.

GSA Committee will not meet during Tiger Time today.

Good luck to Xavier Conlin and the Rolling Panthers as they compete at the National Wheelchair Basketball tournament in Wichita Kansas. They are currently ranked 5th in the nation. Their first game is on Friday at 10 am.

Congratulations to the Math Counts Team--Ed Lin, Elliot Purdum, Grace Roth, and James Schafer who placed 6th in the state competition yesterday! Special congrats to Ed Lin who placed 7th overall.

Any 7th or 8th grader still interested in signing up for track and field, please contact Miss Kahrs for girls team sign-up. For boys sign-up, contact Mr. Grothoff. Practice will begin on the first day back from Spring Break, March 23rd.

Jr High Boys Track and Field: Make sure to get your clothing order form in to Mr. Grothoff's room BEFORE you leave for Spring Break. Deadline is Tuesday, March 24th, right after we get back from break.

During the Month of March, the Battle of the Books team is collecting new or gently used children books to be donated to children's hospitals in Iowa. This donation event is inspired by Dan Pratt, a hospital employee in the pediatric unit at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Pratt runs the ECMO life support machine and reads to young patients during their most vulnerable moments. So, do some Spring Cleaning this month and contribute to a great cause! Bring donated books to the library and look for the Super Hero donation box!

Have you ordered your yearbook yet? Don't miss out! The last day to order is Tuesday, March 31st. Check the doc on Schoology to see if your name is on it. If not, let your parents know you want a yearbook! Yearbooks cost $15.00 and can be paid for at the lunch window.

Today’s lunch will be: Beef Nachos, Tony’s Cheese Sticks, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, Refried Beans, Baby Carrots, Pineapple, and Pears.

Happy Birthday to: Noah Backes, Gabriel Keagle, & Peyton Nicol!
