Today is Monday, February 24, an A day.
Peet freshmen: If you are interested in helping select the 9th grade dance theme, please sign up on the google form on the 9th grade Schoology page from Mrs. Lins. She will request you for the first meeting this Wednesday, February 26th during Tiger Time. This group will meet in the front office conference room and will come up with 3 themes for the whole class to vote on! Please come with ideas!
The Peet JH Variety Show is just around the corner on Friday and Saturday March 6th and 7th. Tickets are on sale now and are available for purchase before school. Tickets are $6 for all shows. There are $2 student tickets available for the Saturday 2:00pm show for all K-12 students. We have three shows: Friday March 6th at 7:00pm, and Saturday March 7th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Each show will include Kiwina's kettle corn, sweet treats, and water at intermission! Students have been hard at work preparing their acts and have a great show planned for you!
For any 9th graders who are interested in playing men's tennis and missed last week's meeting, please sign up on the Google form in the 9th grade Schoology group. Mr. Suiter will email you all of the information needed to join Men's Tennis.
Check out the Library window for a quiz on Black History Month. Match the picture of a person from history with their biography, and turn in your answers for a chance at a prize! Mrs. Miller has papers for your answers in the library. Good Luck!
Today’s black history month spotlight is on Gordon Parks. He was a photographer. Some of his notable accomplishments include bringing injustice to the eyes of the American people through his photographs and being the first black filmmaker to write and direct a feature film.
Today’s lunch will be: Chicken Nuggets with a dinner roll, Pork Tenderloin Sandwich or Nacho Grande, Baked Beans, Baby Carrots, Oregon Berry Blend and Pears
