Congratulations to Hannah Batterson for making it to state and for Ella Hertz to getting runner up at the Regional Poetry Out Loud contest this past weekend. All participants recited two memorized poems before a panel of judges and were judged on voice and articulation, dramatic appropriateness, evidence of understanding, and overall performance. Way to go, girls!

There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in being a part of Peet’s annual Variety Show on Monday, December 16th in the choir room, room 54. You have 2 different opportunities to attend this meeting, you only need to attend ONE TIME. Your options are: Before school @ 8:45 am OR After School @ 3:15 pm. Again, this meeting is taking place on Monday, Dec. 16th in the choir room either before or after school. You should attend this meeting if you are planning on auditioning for the show or auditioning to be an M.C., interested in singing in the men’s or women’s choir, or interested in seeing how else you could be involved behind the scenes! Spread the word and bring your friends, we are hoping to see a lot of students there! It’s going to be another great show featuring the amazing talent of our student body here at Peet Junior High! Candy Canes sales end today! Candy canes will be $1 and sold before school and during all 3 lunch shifts, and will be delivered every day during 4th period starting tomorrow! All proceeds will benefit Peet’s Adopt-a-Families! Stop and see Mrs. Kenser’s in the cafeteria before school and at lunch!

Tiger Time classrooms can choose to participate and start decorating classroom doors for Peet's Annual Winter Door Decorating Contest! Tiger Times have until Tuesday, December 17th when Student Council votes!
