9th graders, check Schoology for a spot to fill out music requests for the 9th grade dance!

UNI’s School of Music is hosting an Amp Camp for those interested in learning more about keyboard, electric guitar, bass, drums, and vocal music. Amp Camp is August 5th - 9th for ages 9 - 18, all skill levels and abilities, and instruments are provided. Registration deadline is June 14th, and details can be found at ampcamp.org. A flyer is in the front office.

Those interested in detasseling, stop in the Counseling Office to pick up application forms. There will be another application turn in day on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00pm at HyVee on Ansborough in Waterloo.

UNI will be hosting a STEM camp for students who attend Cedar Falls Schools that are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Camp topics include: Robotics, 3D Printing, Biology, Art, Fashion & Nature. For dates and times of these sessions stop by the Counseling Office. Scholarships are available!

If you deal with stress, something you can do to help manage it is to change your thinking. If you start stressing out about not finishing your project or paper for example, your mind builds a case for what you believe is going to happen and it will happen if you have that mindset. So, when negative thoughts come, think of ways you can create the time to work on that project. Stress is not an overnight process, it takes time to help manage it.
