PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Wednesday, March 6th a B Day.


Good Luck to our Robotics team who will be competing in Duluth tomorrow: Claire Shaw, Gabe Rosckes, Emma Lewis & Abby King!


The HS will not be offering a Pep Bus to Thursday’s State Basketball game. They are still selling tickets to the game for $10. Contact the HS for more information.


Melodies members, please be sure to grab a picture packet from Ms. Eilers sometime today if you have not already done so. Pictures are tomorrow morning starting at 7:00 am, please be early and ready to go dressed in your blue costumes!


Any 9th grader interested in HS cheerleading, there will be a meeting during Tiger Time today in the Conference Room.  Meet with Coach Doyle to get information on try-outs being held this Saturday.


9th Graders interested in joining the Men’s Soccer team, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday,  March 6 at 3:30 at the HS in Room 106. Coaches will collect all players' physical slips.


9th Graders interested in going out for Women’s Soccer, there will be a parent/player mandatory meeting Thursday March 7th at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria. Please let Coach Place know before the meeting if you or your parent is unable to make it by emailing placea@uni.edu.


7th & 8th-grade girls interested in going out for track, there is a sign-up on Schoology. There will be an informational meeting NEXT Wednesday in Mrs. Groen's room before school at 7:30 or after school at 3:05. Choose the time that works best for you. See Mrs. Groen with any questions.


Interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Dance Team? Practices will be March 13th & March 27th, with tryouts happening on March 30th. Go to cedarfallsdance.com/tryouts for more information about practice times and locations. Cedar Falls students 9th-12th grade for the 2019-2020 school year are eligible to try out.


March bus passes are on sale at the Lunch Window.  Due to Spring Break, the cost for a two way pass is only $40.00 and a one way pass is $20.00.  If students do not have a bus sticker on his or her ID and are riding the bus, you must purchase a bus pass.  Bus drivers have been instructed to start checking after March 5th.


Today’s lunch will be: American Bar, Potatoes with Ham Casserole, BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, Oven Fries, Veggie Bar, and Grapes.

 

If you choose to get the American Bar for your lunch, you will have a choice of a Hot Dog or Hamburger.
