PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Wednesday, February 13th a B Day.


Students participating in this year's Variety Show: Today after school we will be rehearsing Act 2 in the choir room. Please see the show order posted outside the band or choir room to check if you need to be at rehearsal. (This includes Melodies, Women Choir). See a director today if you have any questions!


9th graders interested in playing Men’s Tennis for the 2019 season there will be a meeting before school at 7:35 AM, in Mr. Suiter’s room #8, on Thursday, February 14. Please be at the meeting so that Coach Suiter can give you information concerning the spring tennis schedule, practice schedule, summer tennis, team uniforms and answer any questions you may have about the program. Again, the meeting will be for 9th graders interested in playing tennis this season, in room #8 at 7:35 AM, in Mr. Suiter’s room #8, on Thursday, February 14.


9th Grade Girls interested in playing tennis this year: There will be an informational meeting Thursday, February 21st at 6:00pm at Cedar Falls High School cafeteria.  This meeting is for parents and students interested in playing tennis this year.


Today’s lunch will be: Breakfast Bar, Breaded Ravioli, Hashbrown Patty, Veggie Bar, and Strawberries.

 

On the Breakfast Bar today (These items are only included in the Breakfast Bar lunch):

Cheese Omelet

Biscuit

Sausage gravy

Diced ham

Sausage crumbles

Cinnamon Roll

There will be Shredded cheese, onions and green peppers on the veggie bar to top it off.

If you choose to get the Breakfast Bar for your lunch, you are able to get one serving of each of these items. If you get more than one serving or do not get the Breakfast Bar, these items will be counted as ala carte.  

On Thursday, we will have a survey again, during all lunch shifts to get your feedback on the Breakfast Bar

Today’s black history month spotlight is on Augusta Savage. She was an American sculptor. One of her notable accomplishments include being the first black artist to join the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors.
