PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Friday, January 25th a B Day.


The nominations for the 2019 Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching are now open! Do you have a teacher who has made an impact in your life?  Someone who has gone above and beyond as an educator? If so, send in a nomination! Your favorite teacher could be honored at a flashy award ceremony and win $1,000 for their hard work! Nominations are due by midnight on February 20th, pick up a form from the library, guidance office or front office and turn completed forms to the front office.


8th Grade students, next Tuesday we will have hearing checks in the office conference room.  You will receive a pass right away during period 1 with a time to report to the office. Please make sure to report at your time listed. Please see the office with questions.


8th Grade Boys Basketball results against Carver last night: A Game Peet 24, Carver 52. B Game Peet 13, Carver 19. C Game Peet 18, Carver 13. Good effort!


Any 9th grade boy interested in Boy's Track & Field should attend a meeting Monday, January 28th right after school in Mr. Cantrall's room (Room #13).  If you are unable to attend please sign-up in the main office to receive information about the upcoming 2019 Track & Field Season.


There is an informational softball meeting for pitchers and catchers this Sunday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 in the HS gym for grades 8-12 with Coach Chidester. The meeting will last 30-45 min.


Students and parents are invited to visit STEM Night at the high school, rooms 30 and 31, on Monday, January 28, 5:30-7:30 PM. Meet teachers, visit the engineering and computer science classrooms and learn about STEM courses and extracurricular opportunities at the high school.


Today’s lunch will be: Cheese Bread, Nacho Grande, Honey Mustard Chicken Salad, Baked Beans, Veggie Bar, and Sidekicks.
