There will be a Boys Cross Country meeting in the Media Center on Tuesday, May 22nd, at 7:45 am.  This will be for all current 8th and 9th grade boys that are interested in participating on the 2018-2019 HS Cross Country Team.

The gold star ceremony is tomorrow night at Gallagher Bluedorn. Mr. Byersdorfer will be one of the teachers honored. If you need tickets, stop in the office and see Mr. Boevers.

If you don’t have tickets you are still able to go to the program.

We hope to see you there, please come out and help celebrate Mr. Byersdorfer winning the Gold Star.

Congratulations to the Special Olympians who  participated in the State Summer Games on Friday and Saturday on the ISU  campus in Ames.

From Peet, Jewell Alley place 2nd in the standing long jump and 1st in the softball throw.

Adia Mortl place 1st and won a gold medal in both the standing long jump and mini javelin throw.

Jay Minard won a gold medal for his first place finish in the standing long jump.

Joey Elser placed 1st and won a gold medal in the softball throw and received a participation ribbon for his standing long jump.

Travis Redd won a bronze medal for his 3rd place finish in the 100 meter dash.

Alex Cunningham placed 2nd and won a silver medal in the softball throw and won a gold medal in the 50 meter dash for his 1st place finish.

The 4 X 100 relay team of which Max Feist and Alex Cunningham were members also took a first place finish and won gold medals.

Way to go everyone!
