No Echoes today 3/6 (Monday) due to a meeting after school. All students should make arrangements to get home immediately after school. Echoes will resume on Tuesday.

Any girl who would like to sing with the Women's Choir for our Spring concert should report to the choir room at the beginning of their lunch shift for rehearsal. Rehearsals are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the first 10 minutes of lunch.

For all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in running track this spring: Coach Johnson, Meyer and Carter will have a brief meeting after school to go over expectations and important information on Thursday, March 9th.  Please plan on being at this meeting to get all the information you will need to get your track season off to a blazing start!  If you are unable to attend this meeting, please see Coach Johnson this week to get information.

Congratulations to the 8 students from Peet who are part of the Cedar Falls Schools Special Olympics team and participated in the Northeast Iowa District Competition for Track and Field at the UNI Dome on Sunday.

First place finishers in the softball throw were Alex Cunningham, Isaac Purdy, Breezy Ryan, and Adia Mortl.  Joey Elser placed 3rd in the softball throw.

In the Mini Javelin throw,  Aidan Allison placed first.

Breezy Ryan, Jewell Alley, Aidan Allison, Alex Cunningham, Joey Elser, Adia Mortl, and Travis Redd all jumped to first place finishes in the standing long jump.

Jewell Alley placed 3rd in the 50 m dash.

In the 100 m dash, Isaac Purdy place first and Travis Redd placed second.

Our 4 X 100 m relay team of Alex Cunningham, Travis Redd, Isaac Purdy, and Aleah Wegener ran to a first place finish.

Everyone from Peet has now qualified for the State Summer Games to be held on the ISU Campus in May.  Great job everyone!!

7th & 8th-grade girls interested in track, please sign up outside of Ms. Pickett's room, room 34. There will be a required informational meeting Thursday before school at 7:30 OR Thursday after-school at 3:05. Choose the meeting time that works best for you. There is a Cedar Falls HS Women's Soccer Informational Meeting for parents/players tonight, Monday, 6 March @ 6pm in the Cedar Falls HS Auditorium.  If parents/players have attended previous meetings, they do NOT need to attend again.

Tryouts for the CFHS Dance Team are March 25th. Practices are March 8th and March 22nd. Tryouts are open to current 8th-11th grade students. Go to cedarfallsdance.com for more information
