Minutes Matter for Reading - By 3rd grade, students transition from learning to read to reading to learn. Regular attendance ensures they don't miss phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension groups. Every day they are here is a step toward reading success!
Morning Drop Off Needs - thank you for reading carefully to ensure we are safe and efficient during drop off each morning. Please pull up as far as possible before dropping off. Also, please help our students exit cars quickly and use the sidewalks to walk towards the building or the cross walk to come to the building. Please do not allow our students to cross the traffic! Last, please take care of all hugs and high fives before coming to school as this slows everything down during drop off. Thank you!
Winter Gear (https://tinyurl.com/tnv7549a) - does your family need help with winter gear? We hope cold weather doesn’t arrive for a long time and we have a very generous organization that helps us help our families with needed gear. Yes, we go outside as much as possible during the cold weather months to enjoy fresh air! If you would like assistance, please complete the link for each member of your family. Thank you!
Lincoln Family Directory (https://tinyurl.com/4f5rcpc7) - Parents and Lincoln School (PALS) is sponsoring a directory to help our families connect! This is an opt in directory and it will be shared only with those families who choose to share their information. We will not share this link on social media. Please reach out to Mr. Bryant with questions!

Growing Our Tiger Ten Together!
We are excited to kick off the school year by teaching our students The Tiger Ten—10 skills that help children be successful at school and in life. These skills help children make good choices, get along with others, handle challenges, solve problems, and become confident, independent learners. Families can help by encouraging children to keep trying when something is hard, talk about their feelings and ideas, work through problems, learn from mistakes, and think about what they can do differently next time. When we use the same language at home and at school, we help our students see that these skills are important everywhere!
Thank you for your support! We are looking forward to seeing you again next week!
Respectfully,
Ralph Bryant
