Did you miss Kettle Corn at Winterfest? Good news, we will sell bags of Kettle Corn for $7 each on Friday, April 10th! We will begin sales at 3:00 PM and end at 4:15 PM. Students are welcome to purchase before leaving for the day or following dismissal. We will accept cash or checks made out to Lincoln PALS (Parents and Lincoln School).

Safety Drills (https://tinyurl.com/esnax5ra)  - Students and staff at all Cedar Falls schools participate in drills to continually improve our Safe School Plan. These drills help make sure everyone understands what to do in a crisis situation. Drills are practiced for fire, tornado, dangerous intruder, and off-site evacuation situations. Classroom teachers explain the purpose of the drill in age-appropriate discussions with students, and drills are clearly identified as only a drill. Attached is a letter describing our planned hide and run drill.  If you wish to opt your child out of participating in these discussions or drills, please contact your building principal. 

Our district is hosting a virtual keynote with Lynn Lyons on Thursday, April 16th! (https://tinyurl.com/498c77ww)  Lynn Lyon will join us virtually and you can watch in the Cedar Falls High School Auditorium. There will be breakout sessions with local experts following the keynote.

2nd grade families! The Iowa Department of Public Health requires a vision screening for those entering into 3rd grade. Second Step - During the third quarter of the school year Team Lincoln will learn about empathy and kindness. These skills help create a safe and supportive classroom, strengthen friendships, and teach students how to be respectful and caring members of their school community.
