We Look Forward To Meeting Our New Kinders On Tuesday, August 11th!
Lincoln Kindergarten Parents,
We are excited to welcome our Kindergarteners next Tuesday, August 11th! We will ask students with the last names of A-L attend from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Last names that start with M-Z should attend the 1:00-3:00 PM session. Please bring a 24 count box of crayons if you are able. Also, please remember we will follow our district safety guidelines during the visit and ask that students wear a face covering or a shield. In addition, if you or your students are not feeling well, please stay home. We would be happy to arrange a visit when you are feeling better.
In addition to face coverings or shields, we wanted to share our plan for drop off and pick up. When you arrive at Lincoln, please plan to enter our main entrance located on 8th Street. We will allow families to come in as a group wearing face coverings or shields. We will mark the floor to maintain physical distancing down our hallway. Each student will be assigned to one of our Kindergarten classrooms. Please leave your students at the classroom door. Following entrance, we will ask for families to leave using our east playground doors. At dismissal, we will ask families to return to our east playground. Please physically distance on our playground during pickup. We will bring students to the door and individually help them connect with their families.
Due to COVID-19, we missed the chance to meet with our families in March. Please remember that our team created this video to share information about our school. We apologize that we were not able to meet you in person!
