Thank You For Your Partnership This Year!

Lincoln Families - Thank you for your partnership and support of our students this spring! We cannot thank you enough! We hope you have a safe and healthy summer. Please watch your email and our social media over the summer for any announcements regarding registration and the start of school.

In addition, here is a list of additional Community Resources.

Picking Up Student Belongings - Families will be able to pick up student belongings on May 29th between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Families will need to drive up to our 7th Street Cafeteria windows, hold up a sign with student names and grades. Our staff will bring a bag with their belongings to your trunk. If you have items to return (library books, classroom books, black book bags or borrowed clothing), please place them in a labeled bag to hand to our staff. If you have a district provided iPad or Chromebook, please hold on to it for now. Thank you for your cooperation with the offered times and for respecting safety procedures during this time. If you do not pick up items today, please contact the school (319.553.2950) or email Mr. Bryant to arrange a time.

End of the year reporting - we will be sharing an end of the year summary of our learning objectives via email on June 2nd. In addition, staff will provide brief comments on student engagement during our closure.

Information about the 2020-2021 School Year - At this time, our first day of school for students for the 2020-2021 school year will be Monday, August 24. We will continue to communicate updates and any changes. Online registration for the 2020-2021 school year will begin July 6, information and directions will be sent to families.

Would you like to help us build a life sized Jenga for Lincoln? We know you may be seeking activities at home and we are working to build a life sized Jenga for use at future school events. Lincoln PALS (Parents and Lincoln School) have created 51 pieces for our students and families to decorate. If interested, we ask that you paint, decorate or color (without attaching anything)! We will arrange a pickup time as well as a drop off opportunity with the families interested. Once collected, we will seal them for use at Lincoln! Sounds pretty amazing, right? If interested, please email Mr. Bryant and he will keep a list and communicate both pickup and dropoff.

Please continue to monitor your email, visit the District and our school website and social media channels for regular updates and connections to learning activities. The health and safety of our students, employees, and community is always our top priority.  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We will continue to move through this together, support each other, and do all we can to support you and your families.
