A few important dates to begin the year for your planning:

3.12 - Noon dismissal, Student Led Conferences from 1:00-8:00 PM

3.13 - No school for K-6

3.16-3.20 - Spring Break!

3.24 - 2nd Grade to GBPAC at 12:30 PM

3.30 - All-City Orchestra Concert  (Grades 5-12) in the CFHS Gym at 7:00 PM

3.31 - Registration for Kindergarten for 2020-2021 at 6:30 PM

4.7 - Book Club will resume

New Information:

Noon Dismissal on Thursday, March 12th! We will dismiss at noon for conferences. We will serve lunch prior to dismissal. 

Morning Drop Off and Afternoon Pickup - if you need to come into the building for any reason during morning drop off, please use our guest parking spots. It is helpful to keep the traffic moving in our drop off lane. In addition, please find a parking spot when you are picking up at dismissal.

Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) - During the week of April 13th, students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 will begin taking the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) tests. These will be taken digitally using our Chromebooks. We will begin working with our students using practice tests to help them become familiar with both the format of the tests and types of questions they will be answering. These practice tests are available for use by our families as well! Please plan ahead to ensure our students are at school and on time each day. In addition, please avoid appointments during this week.

Reminders:

This is a friendly reminder that our school and breakfast opens each morning at 8:30. Students should not be dropped off at school or on our playgrounds before this time. In addition, we are asking for families to help our students build independence by letting them walk to their classroom on their own. Following dismissal, students should be picked up or go directly home. Unless under direct supervision of an adult, they cannot be on our playgrounds until after 4:15.

District Notifications - If you are not currently receiving District notifications, you may opt-in at any time by texting the word "Yes" to 87569.

Student Directory - PALS (Parents and Lincoln School) offers our students and families an opt in directory to allow families to share information for invitations and play dates outside of school. If you would like to join or update information, please use these directions. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bryant!

Tiger Bucks Are Back! Tiger Bucks are gift certificates you purchase and a percentage is returned to our school! Tiger Bucks Can Now Be Purchased Online! We now have the ability to do online scrip orders! Each order will help you with everyday purchases and also support our school! Orders are due by March 6th at 9 AM!

Here is how it works:

 - Go to shopwithscrip.com and select REGISTER, then JOIN a SCRIP PROGRAM.

 -  Once you have Parents and Lincoln School selected as your preferred program, create your personal login!

 - Add your bank information (it can take a couple days for the bank info to be approved and added to your account...so make sure to do this step right away so you are ready to order soon!)
