New Information:

Winterfest is coming! Students will be bringing home raffle tickets on Friday! Thank you for helping them safely sell tickets as we raise money for our school. Our fundraising goal is to use our funds to replace the furniture in our collaborative spaces at Lincoln. We are working to offer flexible seating options in these spaces for our students! You can help in many ways! We are in need of volunteers to help count tickets each morning for the next two weeks. If you can help, please email Mr. Bryant (ralph.bryant@cfschools.org)! If you would like to volunteer, please indicate on our Sign Up Genius!

We will see you on February 15th between 11 AM and 2 PM!

6th Grade Students and Parents - please read this message from Holmes Junior High:

Holmes will be hosting a parent/student scheduling informational meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 7:00 PM in the Holmes New Gym (please park in the south parking lot and enter through the Activities Entrance).  All 2020-2021 7th grade students and families are encouraged to attend.

Yoga Opportunity - Lincoln Elementary will be offering a brief 8-10 minute mindful/yoga session at 8:30 in the gym. The first session will begin Monday (2/3). If students (K-6) would like to participate they are welcome to join us. To help this be a positive experience for all, we will use the following guidelines:

 - Students should let their teachers know they plan to participate and move quickly to class when the session is done at 8:40.

 - Students must wear PE shoes or socks when they enter the gym.

 - Students do not have to bring a yoga mat but can if they wish. A towel could take the place of the mat OR students can simply sit on the gym floor. These should be kept in their lockers during the school day.

 - If a student is talkative during the session they will be asked to leave. If this happens twice, we will not allow further participation.

Nominate A Teacher For the Gold Star Award! Please consider completing a paper application and dropping off in our office or completing the online application.

Please help us maintain student safety after school! As we clear our sidewalks and driveways, we begin to have large snow piles. We ask students not to play on them as they are close to the street. Thank you!

Reminders:

This is a friendly reminder that our school and breakfast opens each morning at 8:30. Students should not be dropped off at school or on our playgrounds before this time. In addition, we are asking for families to help our students build independence by letting them walk to their classroom on their own. Following dismissal, students should be picked up or go directly home. Unless under direct supervision of an adult, they cannot be on our playgrounds until after 4:15.

Morning Drop Off and Afternoon Pickup - if you need to come into the building for any reason during morning drop off, please use our guest parking spots. It is helpful to keep the traffic moving in our drop off lane. In addition, please find a parking spot when you are picking up at dismissal.

Student Directory - PALS (Parents and Lincoln School) offers our students and families an opt in directory to allow families to share information for invitations and play dates outside of school. If you would like to join or update information, please use these directions. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bryant!
