Student Success at the Iowa State Science Olympiad
Holmes Junior High science efficianados recently took part in the Iowa State Science Olympiad and placed third overall as a school.
The Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition where students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, and other science fields. The Science olympiad is designed to increase student interest in STEM fields and to provide recognition for outstanding achievements in team events!
The Individual medalists were as follows:

Spencer Shores, 2nd place in Boomilever
