To celebrate this milestone, Holmes will be hosting our 9th grade dance on Saturday, May 9th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Holmes Junior High. We need your help to make this a great night of dancing and fun for them. Read Full PostThe Holmes all school dance is Friday, April 24, 2026 in the Holmes New Gym from 6 to 8 p.m. Current Holmes students only. Tickets will be available in advance for $4 from the bookkeeper or $5 at the door. Student council will be selling drinks and light refreshments.

Read Full PostHolmes students will be taking the ISASP (Iowa State Assessment of Student Progress) starting March 30. Students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade will take the reading, language and writing, and math assessments. Eighth grade students will also take a science assessment. This is a very important week for our students and our school.
