Mean, Green MathCounts Students Show they are Anything but Average

Mean MathCounts Students are anything but Average!

Holmes Math students recently participated in the Regional chapter competition of the MathCounts Competition series. Students participated virtually this year and Holmes had five students who moved on to the Chapter Invitational Round, which will take place Friday, February 26, 2021. 

The qualifiers ranked out of 75 total participants:

1st Place: Cedric Liu (8)

4th Place: Adam Le (8)

7th Place: Sana Tabei (8)

9th Place: James Peng (7)

13th Place: Nadia Patel (8)

We offer great congratulations to our excellent math students and wish them the best of luck at the Chapter Invitational Round as well!

UPDATE:

We extend further congratulations to two more Holmes Students, who qualified for the State MathCounts competition:

The top two scroers from Holmes Junior High were Cedric Liu and Pranav Kota.
