Class of 2020 Seniors: Reminder: If your last name starts with A-K you will need to report to the auditorium TODAY during the 1st shift of Power Hour. If your last name starts with L-Z you will need to report tomorrow, (Friday) during 1st shift power hour to the auditorium for a very important meeting and to get measured for your cap and gown! This is a mandatory meeting.
Attention Sophomores: You are encouraged to apply for Sophomore Leadership, a student organization which focuses on building cohesiveness and a common spirit for the sophomore class through the use of service projects and social activities. Students are selected for this group through an application process. The link for the application can be found on the Class of 2022 Schoology page. Are you a junior who is interested in creating and helping out your school and community? Then, come join us for Junior Leadership with Mrs. Chiles and Mrs. Llerena. Please, make sure to come to our first meeting on Friday, September 6th, 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 160. See you there!
A representative from St. Thomas University will be here on Monday, Sept. 9 at 2:10 to speak with interested students. Please sign up in the Counseling office or through Schoology.
SAGA stands for Sexuality And Gender Acceptance. We will meet in room 106 during Power Hour on Thursday, September 12th. All LGBTQ students, allies, and staff members are invited to join us for a fun and welcoming activity to start off the school year. Follow the Tigers: Boys' Golf meet will begin at 3:15 pm at Airport National Golf Course in Cedar Rapids; Boys' and Girls' JV and Varsity Cross Country will begin at 4:00 pm at the Iowa State University Cross Country Course in Ames.
