Reminder to students that you can view daily announcements by touching the announcements tab on one of the Hall of Fame display screens. One is located in the auditorium entrance and one is in the gym entrance. Or, if you go to the Hall of Fame link on your smart phone you can click on the announcements tab there. You can also view the daily announcements on Power School under "Daily Bulletin."
The 2019 yearbooks are available now for pick up every day in the Tiger's Den before school through 4th period. If you did not order a book last year and would like one, we do have a limited number of extras available for $60. See Mr. Winkel in room 208 for details.
Also, seniors, be sure to be planning your senior pictures. The deadline for submission is the last day before Thanksgiving break. If pictures are not submitted by that time, the yearbook will use school pictures from the junior year instead. All the picture requirement details are posted on the Tiger Hi-Line website under the "Contact" link at the top of the page. If anyone needs help with getting a senior picture, yearbook staff can assist at no charge. Again, see Mr. Winkel for details.
Students: Please check your schedule on Power School. Some changes may have been made. Please make sure you have at least 6 classes on your schedule plus PE. If you have more than one release or study hall, please see your school counselor asap! Students have the first 3 days to make changes but you will need paperwork signed by the teacher and a parent.
Students interested in joining the Cedar Falls FRC Robotics team are welcome to attend an information meeting tonight at 7 PM at the team build site, 5447 Westminster Dr., Cedar Falls.
Students: If you don't have your Chromebook please pick it up in the library. If you have a loaner Chromebook, please check your email to see if it has been fixed.
All are welcome to join Student Senate tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7:30am in the auditorium. We will be planning 2019 Homecoming and need lots of help from all grade levels, especially juniors and sophomores. There will be donuts. We hope to see you there.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Golf meet will begin at 3:30 pm at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course; Sophomore and JV Volleyball will begin at 5:30pm followed by Varsity at 7:30 pm at Linn-Mar High School in Marion.
