There will be a Pep bus offered for the football play-off game on Friday, November 3 when Cedar Falls plays Iowa City West in Iowa City at 7:00 pm.The bus will leave from the Auditorium entrance of Cedar Falls High School at 4:45 pm. Cost for the bus will be $6.00 and you will purchase your ticket in Iowa City for $6.00. We must have a minimum of 25 students signed up to go. This is open to 9th-12 th graders. Go to the Cedar Falls High School website to sign up and then come to the main office to pay your $6.00 by Thursday, November 2 at 3:15 pm.
A Pep bus will be offered to the State Women’s Swim meet to Marshalltown on Saturday, November 4. The bus will leave from the Auditorium entrance of CFHS at 8:00 am. Cost for the bus will be $6.00. We must have a minimum of 25 students signed up to go. Deadline for sign up and payment will be Thursday, November 2 at 3:15 pm . This is open to 9th-12 th graders. Go to the Cedar Falls High School website to sign up. If you plan to go you must get your tickets in advance by going to GoFan IGHSAU website. Stop in the main office if you need assistance.
It’s Girls State Volleyball Tournament time - and if you are planning on attending next week you need to listen to the following special announcement: The first round state tournament game for the Tigers will be held on Tuesday, November 7 th at Noon when the Tigers take on Urbandale. Students planning on attending need to provide a parent or guardian excuse by note or phone call to the attendance office by 3:15 p.m. on Monday, November 6 th . Students riding on their own or on the pep bus will be excused from classes at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Students not following this procedure will have an unexcused absence. A pep bus will also be provided for interested students. Students are encouraged and asked to sign up on-line on the Cedar Falls High School webpage. (Click on “Athletics”) Pep Bus cost will be $6.00 total. We will not have game tickets available here at the high school. You will either have to purchase your ticket at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids or purchase your ticket through Ticketmaster.com. Please present a parent note or have a parent call the attendance office in addition to signing up on-line. We do need a minimum number of students to sign up in order to have a pep bus. The pep bus would leave at 10:15 a.m. and return right after the match. You must sign up by 3:15 p.m. on Monday. State VB t-shirts are available now for all Tiger fans. You need to order the t-shirts on-line on the Cedar Falls High School web page. (Click on “Athletics”) Shirts must be ordered and pre-paid by 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 6th or your t-shirt will not be ordered. T-shirts are $10 for S, M, L, XL and $12 for XXL, and $13 for XXXL. Remember – we do not have school on Friday – so order your t-shirts early!!!
