There will be a brief meeting for all current sophomores and juniors planning on going out for varsity basketball next year in room 259 Tuesday during Power Hour A shift. If you cannot attend see Coach Dyvig or Coach Elser.

Soccer Practices will be at the UNI Practice Fields on 27th Street 

Men's Soccer Practice:  4:00-5:30 
Women's Soccer Practice:  5:00-7:00 

The Activity bus for spring sports will start today for women's golf, men's tennis and men's and women's soccer. Please look for bus # 30 by the Auditorium entrance of the high school. It will depart the high school around 3:15-3:20. It will go to Pheasant Ridge golf course, Robinson Dresser and behind the Dome for men's and women's soccer. There will be no return transportation.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYERS - Practice begins today for all new and returning JJV players at the Peet Jr. High Courts at 4:00 p.m. Bus #4 or Bus #10 will transport you to Peet. Please remember to bring your "Physical" slip to practice if you have not already turned it in at the parent/athlete meeting.

Tryouts for the CFHS Dance Team are March 25th. Practices are March 8th and March 22nd. Tryouts are open to current 8th-11th grade students. Go to cedarfallsdance.com for more information.

Cadet Peter Meyers from West Point Military Academy will be here on Tuesday, March 21 to speak with interested students. Sign up in counseling or the schoology.

Teen Trust is seeking applications for membership on the 2017-2018 Board of Trustees. Teen Trust is a program under the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa which seeks to promote philanthropy among Black Hawk County teens. Trustees are responsible for learning about and participating in the grant making cycle. Trustees also learn about community needs, creating and distributing a grant application, and working together to decide which nonprofit organizations should receive a portion of the annual $10,000 available from the Youth Interest Fund. Members of Teen Trust are actively engaged in large group communication and learn valuable skills such as how to be a leader among leaders, in addition to participating in volunteer service throughout Black Hawk County. Students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in the fall of 2017 at a school in Black Hawk County are encouraged to apply. Applications are available at the Community Foundation website. Deadline for applications is Friday, April 14, 2017 (applications must be postmarked or received in the Community Foundation office by 5:00pm).
