PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Today is Friday, August 25, an A day.


Just a reminder for all 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in fall athletics (cross country, cheer, football and volleyball) you will not have practices after school this week due to the heat. Practices for those sports will begin Monday, August 28th. You must be registered for these sports in Bound before you can participate in practice and events. Please stop in the office if you have any questions about signing up for these activities!


The 9th grade football team is looking for one to two students who would be willing to film our football games this fall. This would be for both home and away games.  If you are interested, please contact Coach Scott Striegel at scott.striegel@cfschools.org.


Are you interested in robotics? Are you interested in learning how to design, build or program a robot and work as a team? If so, Sign up for Cedar Falls FTC Robotics. There are 5 teams that meet at different days and times. Teams will meet about once a week from Sept.- January. Competitions will begin in November. Anyone who participated in the Summer Reading BINGO card needs to turn it into the Library before you leave school today. Be sure you have an adult signature on each box before turning it in! See Mrs. Cahill in the library if you have questions.


Students, we will be dismissing at 11:15 next Friday, September 1. We will not serve lunch but you can order a sack lunch to take home with you. Please fill-out the google form posted on Schoology by 8:00am on Monday, August 28 to order a sack lunch. See Mrs. Ruane in the office with questions!


Today's lunch will be: Pizza Crunchers, Grilled Chicken Ranch Sandwich, Caesar Salad, Malibu Classic Veggies, Veggie Bar, Assorted Fruit, Chocolate Chip Cookie
