Preschool Registration is on Friday, January 30th! The CF Preschool Program is funded by the Statewide-Voluntary Preschool Grant and Head Start dollars. Children that live within the Cedar Falls Schools’ boundaries and will be age 4 by September 15 of that school year, are eligible to participate in the program. The tuition is free to all that participate. The district follows a "first come, first served" policy. Questions about the preschool program may be directed to the Administration Office at 319-553-2422.
Vote For Our Tiger Mascot! My name is Mya Hansen, I am a senior at the Cedar Falls High School, and a part of the CAPS Business Solution strand. I am working alongside my associates Jasey Youngkent and Leyton Wolf to give our school's tiger mascot a much-needed refresh. To make some of the design and logistical decisions, we would like the input of students, faculty, and community members; through a survey (https://tinyurl.com/ycy2vuuj) we have created. We would like to request that you send this survey out in your upcoming newsletters in hopes of receiving results over winter break. Thank you so much.

Second Step - During the second quarter of the school year Team Lincoln will learn about emotion management. When students can manage their own emotions, they are able to recognize how they feel, understand why they feel that way, and choose healthy ways to respond. Instead of reacting with anger, frustration, or sadness, they learn strategies to calm down, think clearly, and make good decisions. Developing these skills helps children build a positive sense of self, positive relationships, stay focused in class, and handle challenges with confidence and care. Learn how you can support this at home!
