8.26 - First Day of School! 1:50 dismissal

8.27 - 1:50 dismissal, Input Conferences from 2:15-6:15 PM

8.28 - 1:50 PM dismissal

8.29 - 1:50 dismissal, Input Conferences from 2:15-6:15 PM

8.30 - 1:50 dismissal

9.2 - No school, Happy Labor Day!

This is a friendly reminder that our school opens each morning at 8:30. Students should not be dropped off at school or on our playgrounds before this time.

Did you remember to sign up for Input Conferences? If you didn’t get a chance to sign up for an Input Conference, please call (319.553.2950) or stop in our office. This is an opportunity for our staff to learn from you to help you children have a positive school year. Please remember that parents should attend Input Conferences without children.

Does your student need items in our Health Office? If you child needs health items such as an inhaler or EPI Pen, could you ensure you visit our Health Office please?

5th Grade Beginning Band Parents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the Cedar Falls Elementary Band Program.  There will be two identical meetings held on two different dates in two different locations in order to accommodate busy schedules.  The first meeting will be held on Tuesday night September 3, 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Elementary Cafeteria; the second meeting will be Thursday evening September 5, 7:00 p.m. in the Hansen Elementary Cafeteria.  You may attend whichever meeting works best regardless of where your child attends school. The meetings last approximately 30 minutes. There will be an explanation of the beginner band program and instrument selection procedure.  This meeting is mainly for parents; your child is welcome to come if they desire but it is not required.
