Farm To School! During Farm to School last week, all students were served yogurt from Country View in Hawkeye, Iowa. If your student, enjoyed the yogurt, you can purchase it locally at Hy-Vee or Hansen’s Dairy Outlet. This week, the students tried tomatoes and cucumbers grown in greenhouses in Hawkeye, Iowa. Grades K-3 learned about the wide variety of tomatoes and cucumbers available; you can ask your student if they remember any of the specific types. Grades 4-6 heard a rap about cucumbers; ask your student if they can repeat any of it back to you!

This is a friendly reminder that students should not arrive at school before 8:30 and need to go directly home at dismissal. Our Elementary Handbook says that students must be directly supervised by an adult if on our playground after school. If not, they must head home. Thank you!
