Honoring Our Veterans

Holmes Junior High will host our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Student Council will serve breakfast to veterans starting at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria. Following breakfast there will be a student-led assembly at approximately 9:45 AM in the new gym.

We cordially invite the family members and/or friends of our students who have served or who are currently serving our country to the breakfast and assembly. If you know someone who would like to attend please contact the office at 319-553-2650 by Friday, November 7 with their name and branch of service so we can properly honor them during our event.
