Student Life Holmes Junior HighDaily Announcements :Today is Wednesday, September 30th and it is an B day
Just a reminder to our students who have their school permit and drive to school to please make sure you are only parking in student designated spots:
1.The parallel spots on the back side of the building
2. Spots with an S painted on them in the HJH/Hansen lot
3. If they are full you will need to park on a side street
Please check the lost and found.
School pictures have arrived. You can stop by the front office to pick them up.
Holmes Volunteer Club will have its first meeting during Tiger Time today in room 37.
Due to the saturated nature of the fields and forecast for additional measurable rain, football practice for 7th and 8th grade athletes will be canceled the next two days. We would like for all players to take jerseys, pants, and any other clothing they have in their football lockers home with them. If athletes ask for clarification, both teams will practice again on Friday.
In an effort to support the expectation that players take clothing home to be washed:

Football players that ride a school bus home may dismiss at 2:57 to retrieve their uniforms for washing.

Football players that do not ride a school bus home may dismiss at normal 3:00 time to retrieve their uniforms for washing.
A message will be sent to families via BOUND expressing this expectation and the change in practice schedule.
