Attention 7th and 8th graders who love reading and competition: Battle of the Books is starting up soon. There will be an informational meeting during Tiger Time on Thursday 9/17 in room 3 (Mrs. Vander Wiel's room). No sign up necessary. If you can't make the meeting, let Mrs. Vander Wiel or Mrs. Tresemer know if you are interested. 

The Holmes Junior High School FCA will meet on Friday for the first time this school year at 7:15 AM in the New Gym. FCA is a group devoted to faith partnering with school activities. All Holmes students, 7th through 9th grade can attend. Please join us for fellowship and a testament to one of our own. 

The Holmes Variety Show is back this year with some exciting new ways to get involved in the planning process and in the spotlight! Our theme is..."Everything Under the Sun"! Acts and ensembles might have a connection to the sun, moon and stars or absolutely no association at all. All ideas are welcome and included! Check out your grade's Schoology page for an interest form to sign up for opportunities such as brainstorming drama ideas, writing scripts, leadership roles, marketing the show and more! Wanting to put together an act to showcase your talent? Auditions will be held the week of December 7th. Gather your creative friends and start planning your debut now!
