The Holmes Writing Project starts this Wednesday after school. All are welcome to join us in Ms. Dieken's room, room 1. This is a creative writing club that meets weekly after school. Transportation home is provided via the ECHOES bus. If you're interested and want to learn more, please speak to Mrs. Tresemer or Ms. Dieken. 

Attention 7th and 8th graders who love reading and competition: Battle of the Books is starting up soon. There will be an informational meeting during Tiger Time on Thursday 9/17 in room 3 (Mrs. Vander Wiel's room). No sign up necessary. If you can't make the meeting, let Mrs. Vander Wiel or Mrs. Tresemer know if you are interested. 

Interested in earning Tiger Cup points? Volunteer to work Concessions during the Freshman Volleyball game Thursday, September 17 6:00-8:00 at CFHS. Sign-up on the form posted in Schoology. 

Congrats to the junior high girls cross country team with their first place team finish and a perfect team score at their home meet yesterday! Top 10 finishers included Gweny Tripp-Rieks in 1st place, Evanie Kunkle in 2nd, MJ Squires in 3rd, Grace Morgan in 5th, Makinna Duffy in 6th, and Eliza Hoover in 7th. Way to go, Tigers! 

Congrats to the boys junior high cross country team on their victory at the Rich Engel Classic last night! The team took 9 of the top 10 spots in their race. Special congratulations to Holden Bill, Blake Randall, and Sam Fisher on their top 3 finishes in the boys meet."
