Student Life Holmes Junior HighDaily Announcements :Today is Tuesday, September 15th and it is a B day
Just a reminder to our students who have their school permit and drive to school to please make sure you are only parking in student designated spots:
1.The parallel spots on the back side of the building
2. Spots with an S painted on them in the HJH/Hansen lot
3. If they are full you will need to park on a side street
8th grade football players are to be released at 2:30 for their game.
The Holmes Writing Project starts this Wednesday after school. All are welcome to join us in Ms. Dieken's room, room 1. This is a creative writing club that meets weekly after school. Transportation home is provided via the ECHOES bus. If you're interested and want to learn more, please speak to Mrs. Tresemer or Ms. Dieken.
Junior high boys/ girls cross country will be dismissed at 2:45. We will walk to Birdsall as a team and will not be returning to Holmes after the meet.
Attention 7th and 8th graders who love reading and competition: Battle of the Books is starting up soon. There will be an informational meeting during Tiger Time on Thursday 9/17 in room 3 (Mrs. Vander Wiel's room). No sign up necessary. If you can't make the meeting, let Mrs. Vander Wiel or Mrs. Tresemer know if you are interested.
Interested in earning Tiger Cup points? Volunteer to work Concessions during the Freshman Volleyball game Thursday, September 17 6:00-8:00 at CFHS. Sign-up on the form posted in Schoology.
