Thursday April 10 during Tiger Time the high school rocket club will be here to explain the club and do an activity with students. If you are interested in learning more, come to Room 17 during Tiger Time that day.

The Holmes Student Newspaper Club will be meeting during Tiger Time today to work on our second issue. New members are certainly welcome to join us in Room 12 as well. See Mr. Kuker with questions.

Holmes Junior High took 2nd Place in the Iowa Science Olympiad this Saturday at Iowa State University. This excellent result at the state level competition was achieved with contributions from each grade level. Special note goes to the leadership of our 9th grade competitors: Arjun Anugu, Israel Kodiaga, Meghana Kota, Helen Peng, and Ahan Tandon. Go Tigers!
