This year we will host our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Monday, November 11. Our student council is planning to serve breakfast to veterans starting at 9:45 AM in the cafeteria. Following the breakfast there will be a student-led assembly at approximately 10:45 AM in the new gym.
We would like to invite the family members and/or friends of our students & staff who have served or who are currently serving our country to the breakfast and assembly. If you know someone who would like to attend please contact the office at 553-2650 by Wednesday, November 6 with their name and branch of service so that we can honor them properly during our event.
There will be no art club today after school.
The Holmes social studies department will be holding a mock election this coming Monday, November 4th prior to the general election day in America on Tuesday, November 5th. Students will get a chance to vote for president and for some of the legislative races during their social studies classes that day. More info. to come from your social studies teachers on this event.
There will be a GSA meeting in Mr. Prouty's Room on Friday, during Tiger Time. All are welcome, no sign up needed. Do check in with your TT teacher before coming.
