Mt Everest is the Earth's highest mountain. Its peak is 8,848 meters above sea level. Only about 6,600 people in the world have reached the peak and survived to talk about it. This Wednesday, October 30th during tiger time, Dr. Anderson from UNI will be talking about his experience reaching the peak of Mt. Everest. If you would like to listen to his story, please sign up using the link posted by Mrs. Johnson in schoology.

This year we will host our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Monday, November 11. Our student council is planning to serve breakfast to veterans starting at 9:45 AM in the cafeteria. Following the breakfast there will be a student-led assembly at approximately 10:45 AM in the new gym.

We would like to invite the family members and/or friends of our students & staff who have served or who are currently serving our country to the breakfast and assembly. If you know someone who would like to attend please contact the office at 553-2650 by Wednesday, November 6 with their name and branch of service so that we can honor them properly during our event.
