Student Life Holmes Junior HighJust a reminder that picture retakes are Monday, September 30th from 8am-10:15am in the new gym.
School Pictures-If you had your picture taken back in August at picture day, they have arrived. You can pick them up from the bookkeeper's window.
Scooters has generously donated coupons for all students. The coupon is for one 1/2 priced drink.You can stop by the front office and get one from Ms. Payton Jensen
To all interested 9th grade students: Mr. Kuker will be hosting an informational meeting today during tiger time in room 12, on the Know Your Constitution program.
Attention girls in 9th grade and 8th grade girls taking 9th grade science: Mr. Duff and Mrs. Johnson are taking a group of girls interested in STEM careers to an all day event held on the campus of Iowa State on Thursday, Nov. 7th. This is an all day event with a departure from Holmes at 6:45 am and return time around 4:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to see some of the campus, listen to current college students majoring in stem fields and also learn from professionals in STEM careers. Visit Mr. Duff, Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Hoekstra to get more information.

Spooky season is upon us and so is Inktober. Join this fun, worldwide, drawing challenge that takes place throughout the month of October. See Mrs. Klammer or Ms. Cardamone to get the drawing prompts and rules. Prizes will be awarded to participants.
Attention students interested in drama and improv--Holmes Drama Club will have its first meeting Tuesday October 1st in Room 11 during Tiger Time. We will be meeting every other Tuesday to do skits and improv. Come on down!
Are you a victim of theft and now you're missing a backpack zipper pull? Come to the art room during Tiger Time to make replacements for you and your friends.
