School Pictures-If you had your picture taken back in August at picture day, they have arrived. You can pick them up from the bookkeeper's window.

To all interested 9th grade students: Mr. Kuker will be hosting an informational meeting this week on the Know Your Constitution program. Ask your Tiger Time teacher and simply come to room 12 during Tiger Time this Friday to learn more about the program. Questions? See Mr. Kuker.
Attention girls in 9th grade and 8th grade girls taking 9th grade science: Mr. Duff and Mrs. Johnson are taking a group of girls interested in STEM careers to an all day event held on the campus of Iowa State on Thursday, Nov. 7th. This is an all day event with a departure from Holmes at 6:45 am and return time around 4:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to see some of the campus, listen to current college students majoring in stem fields and also learn from professionals in STEM careers. Visit Mr. Duff, Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Hoekstra to get more information.
The Holmes Gender and Sexuality Awareness club will have its first meeting during Tiger Time this Friday in room 49B in the back of the library. The GSA is a safe place for LGBTQ+ students and allies to socialize, discuss LGBTQ issues, and work to improve our community. The GSA is open to all and no sign up is required.

Spooky season is upon us and so is Inktober. Join this fun, worldwide, drawing challenge that takes place throughout the month of October. See Mrs. Klammer or Ms. Cardamone to get the drawing prompts and rules. Prizes will be awarded to participants.
Attention students interested in drama and improv--Holmes Drama Club will have its first meeting Tuesday October 1st in Room 11 during Tiger Time. We will be meeting every other Tuesday to do skits and improv. Come on down!
