Student Life Holmes Junior HighAttention all Volunteer Club members: the Hansen carnival is next Friday, April 26th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Hansen PTA is looking for volunteers to oversee games, as most slots are not filled and may have to be dropped if there are no volunteers. This will be our biggest volunteering event of the year, so please make an effort to attend. The sign-up link is included in the volunteer club group update on Schoology.
There will be a mandatory softball meeting on Thursday, April 25th for 8-12 graders going out for high school softball. The meeting will take place at the high school auditorium at 6:30pm. If you are unable to attend due to a conflict, please contact Coach Teply as soon as possible.
Help start up the Holmes Interview Podcast! Stop by the bench under the tiger before school to be interviewed and featured in weekly episodes! The interview team will be there with a sign, and it will take less than a minute. Hope to see you there!
Congratulations to our local If I Were Mayor essay contest winners: Susanna Fisher, Abby Ohaka, and Braden Thurn as well as the congressional district winner Bristol Miller! They will be joining Cedar Falls Mayor Danny Laudick this afternoon as "Mayors for the Day!"
